Welcome to the Heart Based Mindfulness newsletter. This email confirms your subscription and provides you with an introduction to my work. After more than 20 years training and teaching Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR), I started Heart Based Mindfulness to provide powerful content and resources to help newcomers and those experienced in mindfulness develop and support their practice. I do this through writing and blogging for my subscribers, offering introductory, basic and 8-week MBSR programs for individuals, schools and workplace organizations, as well as giving keynote presentations to audiences around the world.
In addition, this is a site for yoga practitioners, especially those interested in decreasing or preventing osteoporosis; I am certified in Yoga for Osteoporosis. There are mindfulness-based yoga videos on the website to aid in safe, guided practices. If you are interested, please email me for the code. Group or individual consults can be arranged for either in person or online trainings, by emailing me directly at heartbasedmindfulness@gmail.com.
